Service Features

What is BCTA Connect?

BCTA Connect is a new on-demand transportation service with the option of traveling to three out-of-county zones from anywhere in Beaver County.

Booking Policies and Procedures

  • Rides can be booked in the BCTA Connect Mobile App or by calling in to Customer Service
  • Rides can be reserved from two days to two hours before a trip.
    • Trips are scheduled on a first-come-first serve basis based on vehicle availability
    • Riders are encouraged to book as early as possible for important appointments or other time-sensitive needs
  • Trips must be scheduled individually. Subscription or recurring trips are not permitted
  • Riders can select a departure or arrival time when scheduling. We recommend using an arrival time for appointments or other scheduled commitments

  • The pickup and drop off time will include a 15-minute window before and after the scheduled time
  • All travel must start or end in Beaver County. BCTA Connect cannot provide trips to more than one destination outside of the county lines

Fares

  • Fares will be dependent on the distance of the trip being made
  • Senior and Reduced Fare Discounts do not apply to this service
  • Children riding with a fare-paying adult will pay half of the normal fare
  • Fares must be paid when booking through the app
  • Customer service is available for those needing assistance in booking a trip or paying the fare in the app
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations or no shows less than 2 hours before the scheduled pickup. All purchases are final upon booking.

Additional Riders

  • The rider booking the trip may only bring up to three additional riders
  • Each additional rider will pay the standard fare unless they are children ages 12 and younger
  • Each BCTA Connect vehicle is a 7+1 van. Due to this, spots may be limited on vehicles for parties with mobility devices

Bag Policy

  • Riders can only bring as many bags as they can carry on their person

Service Hours

  • The BCTA Connect service will be in operation Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM
