• Temporary Stop Changes RT 1 Pittsburgh Thursday, November 11, 2021

    Please be advised that on Thursday, November 11, 2021, between 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., the RT 1 North & South stops on Liberty Ave in Pittsburgh will be closed with alternate stops on Grant St due to the Pittsburgh Veterans Day Parade.   • Ambridge/Aliquippa Bridge Closure

    Updated: Effective Monday, November 8, 2021, until Friday, December 3, 2021, the Ambridge/Aliquippa bridge will be closed due to repairs. BCTA Last stop heading Southbound will be on Franklin Ave across from the Aliquippa Police Station. Due to the length of the closure, BCTA will not be operating any Bridge Shuttle.

Specialized Transportation – County-wide transportation options beyond fixed route

Demand and Response Transit (DART)

Demand and Response Transit (DART) service is a door-to-door, advanced reservation, shared ride system of the Beaver County Transit Authority (BCTA). It is operated in both urban and rural areas of Beaver County. Service is available to persons who do not live within 3/4 mile of regular BCTA fixed route buses, and to persons with specialized transportation needs.

Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP)

MATP provides non-emergency medical transportation to residents of Beaver County who hold a valid Pennsylvania Medical Assistance (MA) card.  In Beaver County, the Beaver County Transit Authority administers the MATP Program.
