Overview

The Beaver County Transit Authority Board of Directors voted to approve a fare restructuring for the fixed route program at the November 18, 2025 meeting. The fares will go into place on March 2, 2026 with a more simplified and affordable system.

What’s Changing?

• Lowering of base fares for In-County and Out-of-County riders
• Introduction of Out-of-County and Express Day Passes
• Discounted Unlimited Weekly Pass for frequent riders
• Addition of built-in transfers on mobile tickets
• New discounts on tickets bought in the BCTA Mobile Ticket App
• Elimination of 10+1 Ticket, Monthly Pass, and Change Cards
